Solar final blows periodically grant you an escalating bonus to weapon damage. You are harder to slow or freeze with Stasis, and when you break out, you take no damage from doing so, creating a burst of Solar energy around yourself.

I did testing on the exotic and it cuts down all timers and slowness stacks by half

the damage buff is around 13.5% for 10 sec can stack up to 4x and refreshes the timer each stack. If the timer runs out you have a 5 sec cool down until you can gain stacks again.

the stasis breakout burst scales from 104 with x1 116 with x2 139 with x3 and 200 when x4

I have not fully dived into the pve stats yet but the exotic only seems usable for the damage buff.

You can survive a full dusk field grenade with only 67 stacks of slow, need I say more?

Just got my first pair a few minutes ago. They give a 20% damage buff on a random solar weapon kill. The buff lasts 10 seconds. I have yet to try it against stasis in crucible, but I expect it will be very good.

excellent for avoiding stasis in crucible pretty good in pve if your getting lots of kills the 10 second buff is a bit short though so i recommend running bottom tree sunbreaker to increase your solar kilss

I tested these for a few PvP games and I was not impressed. Main benefit seems to be dusk field, but since duskfield has been nerfed, it's hardly worth the exotic slot. After I was frozen by a cold snap nade while in my super, I was done with them. Back to hunter.

These are very strong in PVP as they act as anti-stasis and they work well with sunspots and solar weapons like Igneous Hammer making it two-tap. As for PVE, the only reasonable use it has is that the solar damage buff stacks with weapon damage buffs.

just got mine an hour ago - like wizard said. the buff happens every few kills. I wasnt able to figure out a pattern to it, probably with more time. wasnt really frozen in pvp so it was hard to gauge that. will most likely keep on my titan for a while.

I tested it in PVP, still not done testing in PvE. In PVP it's absolutely crazy, it totally negates the slow effect of shriekers. And you get 2 tap potential randomly with the igneous hammer (solar weapon), and whenever you get frozen, and its works with bohemoth. IMO, this is broken and definitely be the next meta.

I tested this exotic in PvP and PVE.
1) Perk works only 10 seconds is very little, you do not have time to get to the enemy.
2) It is written that you can not freeze, but all the same you freeze.
3) After killing an opponent with sun damage perk may not turn on.

Buff lasts only 10 seconds, that's very little. Buff does not always work, it's bad. Conclusion: Exot is very bad, the hunter is better.

I don't understand why everyone is judging this exotic so well. I tested this exotic in dungeons, raids and open world as well as PvP and it is very bad.
